Architecture Cyan colored tiles are often used to pave swimming pools to make the water within them seem more inviting to swim in, by making the cyan color of their water seem more intensely colored. Water in swimming pool is colored a bright tint of cyan anyway because chlorine bleach, which is cyan, is added to water in swimming pools for disinfection.
Astronomy The planet Uranus is cyan because of the abundance of methane in its atmosphere.
Computer games/video games There is a computer game company called Cyan Worlds (a.k.a., Cyan, Inc.). There is a Final Fantasy VI character named Cyan Garamonde. Inky, one of the four ghost in Pac-Man, is a shade of cyan. In Pokémon Gold and Silver, a city on a outcast island is named Cianwood City. In The Video Game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: the Sith Lords, Cyan is the rarest color crystal- never appearing in a lightsaber that you are given and will never appear in a predetermined spot- the only way to get it is by a random crystal popping up.
Energy Natural gas (methane), used by many for home cooking on gas stoves, has a cyan colored flame when burned.
Film A silverless dye track used for soundtracks on 35mm film stock. Red light readers are required to read cyan soundtracks.
Interior design and industrial design The color cyan (called aqua by interior designers) was commonly used in the interior design of the 1950s in combination with either magenta or pink and black to give a modern feel to interiors (these colors were also popular for automobiles in the 1950s).
Medical Cyanosis is an abnormal blueness of the skin, usually a sign of poor oxygen intake. i.e the patient is "cyanotic".
Music There is a band called Cyan, a British progressive rock band from the 1980s and 1990s.
Panelology Cyan is the name of a character in the Norwegian comic strip Nemi.
Photography Cyanotype, or blueprint, a monochrome photographic printing process that predates the use of the word cyan as a color, yields a deep cyan-blue colored print based on the Prussian blue pigment
In nature Pure water is nearly colorless. However, it does absorb slightly more red light than blue, giving large volumes of water a bluish tint; increased scattering of blue light due to fine particles in the water shifts the blue color toward green, for a typically cyan net color. Cyanobacteria (sometimes called blue-green algae) are an important link in the food chain. Cyanide derives its name from Prussian blue, a blue pigment containing the cyanide ion.
Cyan (pronounced /saićn/; from Greek κύανoς / kýanos, meaning "blue") may be used as the name of any of a number of colors in the blue/green range of the spectrum. In reference to the visible spectrum cyan is used to refer to the color obtained by mixing equal amounts of green and blue light or the removal of red from white light. As such, cyan is the complement of red in RGB and CMYK color systems: cyan pigments absorb red light. Cyan is also called aqua or blue-green, and was previously known as "cyan blue". Some shades of color close to cyan in the cyan color range are baby blue, teal, turquoise and aquamarine.
Teal, is a color that is a medium blue-green color. The color gets its name from the fact that it surrounds the eyes of the common teal, a member of the duck family. The complementary color of teal is coral pink.

The color teal is displayed at right. It comes from a mixture of the primary color, blue, and the secondary color green. Teal is one of the initial group of 16 HTML/CSS web colors formulated in 1987, shown below. The first recorded use of Teal as a color name in English was in 1917
Video Games The Nintendo Game Boy is a small handheld video game system which is available in a pale tint of teal. Teal is a choice of team color in many video games.
Computers In Windows 95 teal is the default background color.
Internet In an online vote, Teal was voted the most popular shade of blue just ahead of cornflower blue.

The vivid cyan that is seen on an electronic display device (shown at right) is also referred to as electric cyan to distinguish it from the less vivid turquoise-like process cyan used in CMYK color printing (shown below). (Note: while the color is defined by definite RGB values, the display of the color will vary depending on the absolute color space used and the nature of the physical display device, e.g. computer monitor, and if this page is printed it is likely that the color shown will be far from representative.) The web color aqua is an alias for electric cyan, that is, it is exactly the same color shown here as electric cyan. To reproduce electric cyan in inks, it is necessary to add some white ink to the printer's cyan below, so when it is reproduced in printing, it is not a primary subtractive color. It is called aqua (a name in use since 1598) because it is a color commonly associated with water, such as the appearance of the water at a tropical beach
Process cyan (pigment cyan) (printer's cyan)Cyan (subtractive primary)

Cyan is also one of the common inks used in four-color printing, along with magenta, yellow, and black; this set of colors is referred to as CMYK. While both the additive secondary and the subtractive primary are called cyan, they can be substantially different from one another. Cyan printing ink can be more saturated or less saturated than the RGB secondary cyan, depending on what RGB color space and ink are considered. Process cyan is not an RGB color, and there is no fixed conversion from CMYK primaries to RGB. Different formulations are used for printer's ink, so there can be variations in the printed color that is pure cyan ink. A typical formulation of process cyan is shown in the color box at right.

The god-demons in Teni's mind want another Aomi (not like the chimera aomi--that plan failed W__W)
Normal Aomi = white skinned/black stripes-ear & tail tips/black hair and teal bangs/cyan eyes (color of inside the ears stay the same- peach/light peach)
Invert Aomi= black skinned/white stripes-ear & tail tips/white hair and red bangs/red eyes (color of inside the ears stay the same- peach/light peach)
Normal + Invert = ?? i must think of what..this aomi would look like, either a mix & match? combination?
the colors to work with: white, black, grey, peach, red, cyan, purple, green, yellow, blue
some computer screens/TVs/printers make Aomi's eyes & bangs out as either GREEN or BLUE and not blue-green/cyan-like.
the purple comes in because of female Aomi's lips, they are purple and her eyeshadow is purple-reddish/pink inverting them makes them green. ALSO: because invert and normal... their orb balls i wanted them to combine to make purple or something like that but since cyan and red only make some brown/grey colour i had to opt for the BLUE of Aomi
invert purple=green invert red=cyan invert yellow=blue
red+blue= purple etc black+white= grey red+cyan= some grey/brown thing

My Aomi had the rather unfortunate luck of being the last Shekintari "born" and the first to "die". Almost like his/her physical ancestor.
The Shekintari died a violent death, so violent it was shattered into many pieces, shattered so fast that parts of it scattered across time and space.
The demon's pieces were thrown into the shadows and light, fusing with the land or with the people or whatever it came across.
To be reborn.
Aomi has many forms, many shapes, ability to genderbend. Aomi is everywhere trying to be "one". The majority of this Shekintari's forms are NOT aware of each other and never will.
Aomi's more "human" forms come with a common problem, their hearts seem to cause them grief, pain, slowing down, almost killing them.
They find themselves having nightmares, slipping in and out of conciousness, being hounded by creatures of darkness, shunned by the divine. They tend to be what they should not be. Total Wrongs. But they survive, they thrive, if not allowed they become spiteful and vindictive, totally wearing everything down around them.
Those that have been decried tend to solve their problems by turning everything around them into ash then they frolick in the soot and other forms of destruction.
---------------------- Aomi obeys two different deities, one is Unetana, if Aomi does well, Unetana trains Aomi with skills of weaponry making/upgrading attacks.
The other deity is: Aoarishishika-Azomida, if Aomi pleases this deity, Aomi's defences and shield/armor making/use gets better. --------------- seen all those seals in my recent pictures? that is Aomi's summoning/sealing-symbol, those smart/lucky enough to work the thing can use this Shekintari as a weapon or to protect.
the seal is a demon-fail-safe.

/ Aomi Armster: A demon, An angel. |

Aomi Armster's FULL demon form. I stuck with the black version.. i was going to go with 'white... or grey' but the blackness made more sense, given Aomi's appearance.
Yes, Aomi is a demon. I get asked all the time why Aomi looks the way she/he does. This is simple, Aomi came from a group of people that the Dark Gods selected, they were 'avatars' basically they were empty shells to house the Shekintari (Aomi's demon species) Shekintari were 'too frightening' for the common mortals to be seen as is (look at the picture), the gods put the Shekintari into humans that they molded to also have animal qualities to 'explain' their sudden powers/abilities/appearance. (When the Shekintari were put inside of the humans, they turned marble white) (think Egyptian gods) Yeah, the Dark Gods had to 'fool' people. Aomi only looks the way she/he does is... because he/she came from a long line of these demons housed in 'shells'. So long infact that the demon essence...well.. totally fused with the shell and it went on and on.
Things got out of hand when Aomi's father, Rahu came on the scene (apparently he housed a rather powerful demon--one of sun eating porportions), other Dark Gods tried to pull the demon out of him to use it for their own purposes since ... there was a genocide going on among the immortals since one of them got their hands on a very unpleasant catalyst that made him/her even more powerful--godkillingish-like.
Rahu's defiance came with a price, he lost his family(they didn't have the essence), his lover, he was about to give in and let them take whatever they wanted so long as she could live..but the gods realized something.. they could... just bring her back for no reason other than to let her stay with Rahu.. they would have another child.. and when the time was right.. take the essence from that child. (they thought it would be far more powerful given that Rahu's lover ALSO was housing one of those demons)
There is a reason why Aomi has those stripes on her/his hips... a reason why Aomi has black hair and a different colored fringe, why the tips of the ears are black why the tip of her/his tail is black. These dark areas are spots were the 'demon' can have a little bit of control. That explains how Aomi's black hair could change length/shape at a drop of a hat, or how Aomi could use her soft ears as horns if need be, or how her/his tail could store things or become a sharp/battering weapon.
Aomi uses her/his essence in only last resort situations, use of it in unnessescary situations could lead to absolute loss of mind/control. When Aomi began to embrace this 'essence' the demon appearance took a little odd turn, Aomi's eyes would fill the empty 'sockets' that were the Shekintari's eyes. Unfortunately Aomi's right eye had been gouged out in order to 'chain' her/him to an abyssmal ward set by her/his father. Think of a collar on a dog but this was a collar for an eye socket, imagine having the entire side of your temple pierced & chained against something (yeah, Aomi Armster was being a bit 'crazy' so because of that fiasco with her/his father when Aomi 'transforms' obviously one eye would be missing. (seen in OTHER Aomi Armster Forms) --------------------
